Murano//HUD:$ync.DF projects simulated Murano glass onto the Daniels & Fisher Tower — Denver's 1911 replica of the Campanile di San Marco. The original collapsed in 1902 and was rebuilt as the copy rose; for a moment, neither was the source. The piece returns the simulation to its material: Venetian glass on a Venetian ghost. Across the facade, the glass twitches in sync with passing seconds — a heads-up display with no readout, time rendered as surface rather than number. The tower keeps time the way glass keeps light: by refusing to hold still.
